Club Dynamics
Our club is made up of people willing to play any game. At the moment we are pretty evenly split between playing Games Workshop rules and Historical rule sets.
Age Range
The club has members ranging from the ages of young whipper-snappers to old farts...all ages welcome.
Greenock Wargames Club - "The Greenock Wargames Club has been in existence since 1973. We started of when Frank O'Neil placed an advert in the local newspaper that he was going to be starting a wargames club in Greenock and a display was being put up in the James Watt College. The club started life in the hall of St. Patricks church at Orangefield where we spent many Saturday afternoons refighting Napoleonic wars & WW2 using rules prepared by members of the club.
After a while we had to leave the church hall for reasons that I can't remember and move to a Community hall at Burns Square, this unfortunately didn't work out due to unwanted attention from local neds & loonies and we moved to the Mearns Centre.
This was our home till a few years ago when we were again ejected due to no fault of our own, and we ended up in Nelson Street URC"
